Rodfather 2 Hour Trout Fishing Experience
This is a great introduction. I’ll show you how your equipment works, walk you through the basics of casting, and get you used to the feel of the rod.
You’ll learn how to spot where the fish are and how to get the fly out there in a way that makes those trout believe it’s the real deal.
I’ll get you fishing almost straight away and hopefully land your first trout for you to take home and enjoy. After a photo of course!
Two Persons £220 Includes 1 fish each
You may of course purchase extra fish tickets on the day.

Rodfather 4 Hour Fly Fishing Experience
With a bit more time, we can get properly immersed in this great pastime. Alongside casting and handling the rod, I’ll show you how to tie some easy but important knots, choose the right fly, read the water, and, with a bit of luck, hook and land a brace of trout.
You’ll come away with a solid understanding of how to fish independently and the confidence to go it alone.
Price £250.00 Including 2 fish
Two Persons £295 Including 2 fish EACH

Group Sessions
Fishing together, learning together.
Fly fishing is often thought of as a quiet, solitary pursuit, and it can be. But it’s also a great way to spend time with friends, family or colleagues. If you’ve got a group who’d like to learn together, I've got the ideal solution.
I offer group lessons for up to four people. For larger groups I’ll engage the services of Rodfather 2 the Sequel and if required, Rodfather 3 although he's not as good as the first two! (only joking!) All are experienced anglers and will ensure everyone gets the full Rodfather experience. Fly fishing in a group often brings a brilliant energy to the day. There’s something about learning alongside others, a bit of friendly encouragement, a good laugh and the shared excitement when someone hooks a fish.

What to Expect...
A typical beginner's lesson starts with a short safety briefing. I'll explain about the gear you’ll be using, and how to stay safe throughout the session. Then you'll learn the basic overhead cast on dry land. Then we move onto the water and with any luck, hook into a big one.

Whether you’ve never picked up a rod in your life or you’re a fly fishing expert looking to improve your aerial mends, I’ve got just the session for you.
This is Steve after only 25 minutes Rodfather casting tuition. Just got to narrow those loops Steve, but what a great start!
